These things are very bright! I’m a cosplay photographer and these are absolutely perfect. I love if I can plug them in in my studio, but the real fun is taking them out into the forest at night to really get the amazing vibe. I’m super excited for some Halloween shoots this fall. I highly recommend getting a bunch of batteries for them. They were better than I expected. So far, I’ve only taken them out on battery power and turned them off when I don’t need them but still use them a lot. Looking at the screen, the battery is only a quarter left. The app is very easy to use and connect them. I can’t wait to see what else they can do. If you’re debating between these and cheaper bad lights, save for these. You can still cover them with bags, but these are more useful and you can do more with them. They are absolutely worth the money!

I had to make some training videos in my home office and wanted to up my game. I bought green screen material and hung it, but the lighting in my office is not good enough so any wrinkles in the screen will create shadows and mess up the chroma key. I picked up these and used two of them to light up my screen and the other as a secondary light, depending on what I “made”. I was concerned that the stands would be rubbish (they were fine) or the electronics would be rubbish, but aside from the app being a bit choppy, these things are great. Brightness adjustment, color adjustment, can be powered by battery. They are great. If you need room lights for a production or to improve a video conference backdrop, seriously consider these. If I could improve anything it would be to add a Windows based control app that can set the light settings. It would be great if we could relate it to Stream Deck.

They also have the “look” that you want to have as a professional. Wow, I’ve been putting off buying a quality lamp like this for too long haha. So I’m now a wedding producer for the Panasonic G85. (They don’t work very well in low light. These lights definitely make up for the lack of good ISO!) I also love putting these lights in party mode for receptions/proms! DJs love the particularly good vibe it brings. I downloaded the app from the play store (android) and started using the lights within minutes. I was able to figure out how to set 2 presets, meaning I could have one setting for light skinned people and another for dark skinned people. This means less post-adjustment time. I wish I had bought these sooner, I’m excited to use these for my next gig.

I agree that dangling the power supply on the adapter cord is a bad idea, so I either use a cable clip or a small piece of tape since I also don’t want to knock out the power adapter port. The light throw is great! I was hesitant because they looked smaller and had half the bulbs assigned to a temperature, but the throw was higher than expected.

Wow, this is a very impressive light for this price. That’s cool. I’m happy with its performance, but these just take it to the next level. These now come with a special effects mode, offering more features, better build quality and CRI ratings through an updated app. You can control each light independently on your phone, power it off, change the color settings or get the exact same color on two or even multiple lights I love that it can be powered by AC and battery, making it both indoor and outdoor use or with Run and gun style. Light stands are cool and they do the job, but for the outdoors you’ll want to put some sandbag weight on them. I think it’s best suited for interiors, studio work, YouTube, and indie film scenes, all of which I plan on using these lights. I really have no complaints. recommended

I recommend that you also buy the GVM softbox accessory for these lights, they are the perfect combination. If you’re using a softbox, you’ll want to mount the U-brackets horizontally so you can still adjust the angle of the light, just make sure your braces are in their widest footprint, as a horizontal U-bracket will reduce stability and you It can also be pressed down.

At this price you won’t find using app control. These are superb! Super portable, lightweight, durable, professional looking, bright, easy to modify and fun! The light has two dimmers that allow you to mix the yellow LED with the white and color temperature you’re mixing, as other LEDs often do. I’ve used it on every shoot since I bought it, it’s so versatile and powerful it’s hard not to use it. I might order two or three more. Second purchase. The price of the lamp is very good! I get the best colored lighting. They’re not huge, but still produce a lot of light. I only lighted a fairly small area, so no problem there. The suitcase is well padded to keep everything safe. The brackets for the lights aren’t very sturdy, but they’re perfect for what I’m using them for. I wouldn’t be heavier than these lights, though.

These lights come in a nice reusable travel bag, which I really appreciate. I can tow these safely. A tripod isn’t the easiest to use because you need to loosen the screw, adjust it, and then tighten. The tripod is tall and sturdy, which is the most important part. Lastly, the lighting is great. They are bright and the color temperature can be easily adjusted. I use multiple lights to shoot video. I’m excited to start recording YouTube videos at night.

I read a lot of reviews and went for it. I bought GVM 480s and they work just fine. Comes with barn door and diffuser. Legs are not the sexiest. They’re sturdy enough to hold lights, but not great. The quality of light is great though. I do a lot of video interviews and these lights are perfect for what I need. This case works great and is very convenient. You can store everything you need and then some. You will need batteries. Personally, I don’t like wires all over the place, so batteries do come in handy. Overall, a great light for a quick gig. You will be glad you got them. But that’s just my humble opinion.

The detachable filter softens the light to a medium level without harsh shadows on the face or subject. I can also control brightness and color temperature. Colors range from tungsten orange yellowish to daylight and even cloudy levels like 6800K. I was going to buy two light stands, but the kit comes with 3 metal brackets, which makes everything about the lighting setup really convenient! The 3-point lighting setup can cover almost any situation.

During the photo shoot, a contract photographer bumped into one of our lights, knocking it to the ground. Although the structure of the lamp was strong enough not to be damaged, the bolts that held the light diffuser in place broke away from the frame. I purchased the lamp a year ago and contacted the company to see if they could tell me where I could find and buy replacement parts, but they gave me replacement parts for free. This is the kind of customer service I will always share with all I can.

I liked it so much, I’m going to order another set the next time the check comes in. I tested the lights with the same battery pack I used for studio flash bulbs. The lamp still runs at 100% power for 30 minutes and the battery is still at 95%. I don’t know how long you can keep the lights on if you keep them on, but I do know that 30 minutes with 95% of them on is longer than I can hold a press conference. I love that these lights are easy to install, compact and can be used almost anywhere. First, the suitcase is awesome (is it like 1′ x 2′ x 8.5 “and weighs 20 pounds?). There are two compartments – two lights on the top (plastic shield and diffuser for metal LED housing) and then – three brackets on the bottom (pretty standard), Third light and cable (cable (3 thorn + converter) is a bit bulky so portable battery might be a cool way to buy) now we’re shooting mostly at home and we’ve been getting a lot of rain so I can’t rely heavily on natural light anymore. So these lights come in handy. For photography, it helps with product shooting because you can adjust the color of the light to what you want. But if you want ambient lighting, theme lighting and other things, it’s a little weak for large shots. I recommend using all three lights and buying some extra lights to suit your needs. As for the app, I don’t know how to synchronize all the lights. But we can adjust the color and brightness using a light through the app, which is a really cool feature. Overall, at this price point, this is a good option to help you fill them up as you need them.

beyond expectation. The quality is much higher than I expected. Especially the tripod that comes with the set. Usually you get some cheap, flimsy tripods that barely hold your gear so much that it just goes through. But these tripods are definitely better than regular junk tripods. If you’re on camera, the lights are definitely bright enough for portraiture or blog/YouTube videos, I’d even say you need to turn it off a little or you might be too bright. CON: Read carefully, these are wired lights with non-wired battery capabilities. There is no internal battery that can be charged. You must purchase the battery separately. The battery slides into the port on the back. The overall quality is very good, first time shooting with them today, no worries at all.

My company wanted me to do virtual interviews for marketing purposes, so I needed better webcam lighting, so I bought two of these. The stand is very flexible, and I like the separate cool and warm LED dimmers. These have a good range and are brighter than I need. At the other end of the range, the lights go out abruptly instead of going to zero smoothly. This prevents fine-tuning of color temperature at low light levels.

I purchased these softboxes to be small compared to the larger softboxes I use in my desktop setups. These are older ones that don’t have a specific color temperature indicator, but if you’re using a camera that lets you set white balance intuitively, it’s a staggering price tag.

So overall, these lights are fine. For studio use, it’s bright enough to work with other lights and mix well. The biggest problem is the flapper door. When used on a stand, if you lift the light up and tilt it down, the frame closes the baffle at the bottom! ! Or you have lowered and you point the light and it closes the top flapper door. So the design should have a right angle so that the frame is in the back and when you tilt the lights inside the frame it doesn’t affect the opening of the bezel. Otherwise, the light is good

These things are amazing. These GVM LED lights are replacing the softbox lights I use to take photos. Those softboxes took me about 15 minutes to set up, put them together and add all the bulbs etc. (not to mention changing all the bulbs if I wanted to change the color temperature). This GVM light just attaches to the light stand – I don’t even need to plug it into the wall because I can use rechargeable batteries for it (you have to buy them separately, but gosh, so worth it) . Color temperature can be adjusted instantly. Such a convenient, portable and effective light.

I’ve been shooting videos and reviews for years. Usually I rely on natural light with small LED ring lights, but need something more powerful. I bought this particular LED light and don’t know if it’s powerful enough. Well, that’s about it. When I say about the same, I say that because I have to adjust the settings in the camera to properly expose my face with outdoor backlighting. Auto didn’t do this because the background was too bright. The device has 2 dials, one for white light and one for yellow light. Simple. It can take two batteries, it’s not included, it has barn doors, you’ll need to buy a cheap light stand. They are very cheap so don’t worry. The light itself is soft enough, and you have good control over the correct colors. It’s easy to use, really nothing, and it feels solid. I left it on all day and it didn’t get very hot at all. I would buy another one without hesitation.

I’ve been looking for one of these color tunable LED light panels, but it’s hard to justify the cost. It’s a good compromise of good performance and value (especially for those out of a job who end up getting it to improve video conferencing lighting for Skype interviews!). The fact that they are powered by and come with batteries is even better. I had a power outage at my last event, but these came to the rescue and helped keep the dance floor lit. Item arrived on time as promised. The lights are packaged very well and the degree of unpacking is impressive. The lighting unit itself is made with high-quality components and is inexpensive. The lighting is flawless and provides a very good quality light. The lights stayed on for the entire 52 minutes of shooting, so it didn’t drain a lot of battery power. The light stand is sturdy and runs smoothly and I am very happy with this product.

I use it for basic personal use videos, time lapses for my wife’s drawing, playtime with our boys, and extra stage lighting for the family cabin, which I want to record when everyone gets together to eat and sing. Honestly, I find it a bit overkill for those needs, so I’m pretty happy with the performance of this product. My first impression is that all parts are in perfect condition, not broken or out of place. The batteries seem to take longer to fully charge than my DSLR or camcorder, but they are also larger. It’s convenient to travel with them if I want to rely on the included power cord, but their batteries and chargers don’t fit in the included cloth cover, so they have to travel alone, which is no big deal since I also carry mine Camera travel, its case has room enough for them.When fully charged, the battery lasts about 5 hours before it starts to dim, which is more than enough for my needs. I found it inconvenient that I couldn’t tilt the lights down with the barn door attached, and after I was stimulated enough, I removed them and I doubt they’d ever come back. There are also no color temperature readings, so I found that getting them all to the same temperature and then guessing the values ??in my camera is some art rather than a science, which produces inconsistent results from one shot to the next. Overall, I feel that for such a relatively modest price, the quality of my recordings has improved exponentially, and the included travel case and battery only take a few minutes to set up and remove. I highly recommend this product for its light weight, ample battery life and easy portability.

These lights are really great! I like the daylight and tungsten light features. However, I must point out that the image posted makes it appear as if the barn door is smaller than the actual light surface. they are not! Barn doors are exactly what they should be! Also, someone commented that they were not hinged properly. a big one? ? ? ? from me! They are hinged and fold perfectly into a very small package. OK, so the brackets won’t support the elephants, but they’re strong enough to support these lights. Be careful with all your gear, it will last for decades! !

I have used these on a few shoots now and I am very happy with my purchase. The lights are great, bright, and offer a lot of color matching versatility with white and yellow LEDs. They look well built and I look forward to using them for years. The mounting bracket has two sets of mounting holes. The lower hole allows you to aim the light down while attaching the barn door. I fixed them there (you just put the panel upside down to fit into the case). Batteries are definitely worth the investment. I enjoy the freedom and neatness that wireless charging brings. The light stand isn’t as sturdy as I’d like it to be, but it definitely gets the job done. I recommend this kit, especially for the price.

I purchased a GVM LED video light with a barn door specifically for use in open portrait art groups and teaching workshops to illuminate models. Received packaged delivery within two days. I turned on all the components and tested the lights and they work as expected. The light stand is very sturdy and the light is well made. The overall build is excellent. I haven’t tested the battery, so I don’t know how long it will take to get the lights on on a charge. So far I am very happy with this purchase and hope to use it under the light for many years.

I teach online 3 or 4 hours a day. I’ve been using photo lights with large umbrellas before. They work great, but they use up a lot of energy and sometimes wash me off and are warm. I love this new set of lights. They are small and take up much less space than umbrella lights. Brightness is intense if you want. I use them on one of the lowest power settings and it lights up my face and keeps my green screen functioning properly. My lights are permanently installed and I haven’t noticed any issues with the quality. Some claim they are cheap to manufacture, but my order didn’t find that to be the case. I highly recommend these lights.

I sit and work with a large window next to it. When I’m on a video call, I’m always trying to figure out the best way to add light. I’ve been using a ring light for a while, but I can never seem to get it in the right place and the light hurts my eyes. These lights are exactly what I need! Bright, but not harsh.
